Finally Friday!

Good afternoon,

Well, if that was Term 3, and indeed it was, then, well...that's it!

After a lovely Mass this morning, where the children sat like angels, Room 2 read a bit of poetry...

The Cardboard Fort
By Kenn Nesbitt

I found an empty cardboard box.
I made myself a fort.
I had to squeeze and twist and turn
and crumple and contort
to climb inside, but now I'm quite
embarrassed to report
I'm stuck inside this cardboard box
that's clearly much too short.
Has anybody got a box
that isn’t quite so taut?

...did some reflecting on Week 9...

Wet Wednesday

Good afternoon,

Bit a drizzly old day was had here in Room 2.

We did some writing...

...some Salvador Dali...

...and a touch of topic.

And a busy time was had by all.

I'm out of the room in the morning, going as I am with the older Kapa Haka children to St Theresa's, so...well, have a nice night!

Bokashi Thursday

Good afternoon,

This afternoon, subsequent to our discussion concerning responsibilities at school...

...which itself was following up from our discussion about privileges yesterday, we popped out to Room 5 to pick up an Eco Warrior to discuss with us what we can do to, well, feed our school worms.

Or, more precisely, bokashi.

Earlier in the day, Room 2 paired up to design their own monsters.

And a good time was had by all.

See you tomorrow,

Mr Grant

Wormy Wednesday

Finally, we found some!

Good afternoon,

This afternoon, after a touch of R.E....

...we visited our school's worm farm...

...which we then discussed.

Earlier in the day we discussed...

...and described the Gruffalo.

And of course, welcomed our walking wounded!

One more of whom we added to the fray by the end of the day!
