A measurement post test...

And a good time was had by all!

Wonderful Wednesday

Good afternoon,

It's great to see the rain, but, errr...it's raining! So, good might well be a relative term...

Anyway, this morning we did some maths...

...some reading...

...a touch of R.E....

...and some crest creation.

My Family Shield

Tomorrow I'm out of the room with the rest of the J Team teachers to plan next term, so Mrs O'Neill will be back at the helm.

Bye for now,

Terrific Tuesday

Good afternoon,

Thankfully, the rain held off this afternoon while we completed our Target unit.

First up, a warm up.

Then, the summative assessment itself.

See you in the morning,

Mr Grant

Magnificent Monday

Good afternoon,

Yesterday, that is Monday, Room 2 did some stuff, while I did other stuff sans them!

They measured...

...and Canterbury Sport'd...

...and generally had a good time!

Cultural Friday

Good afternoon,

Well, today was indeed Friday Funday! The children looked great in their cultural costumes.

More photos of the event will be posted on the OLA Facebook page.

After morning tea we had a bit more of Brave Mamma Puss (we're getting to the exciting conclusion - next week!), a bit of poetry...

...and some TRUMP time.

I'll not be here on Monday (I'll be in Wellington visiting my mum), so...have a great weekend, as I'll see you on Tuesday.

Whispering Thursday

Good afternoon,

This afternoon we discussed how the Holy Spirit can whisper to us about what to do. So, well...

Earlier in the day, we continued our Language of Measurement learning, this time through an activity that compared the width of walls.

Tomorrow is the OLA Dress-As-Your-Culture day. Come to school wearing something that represents the culture that you and your family identify with. Gold coin donation please.

Me, I'm thinking of coming as...

Mr Grant

Oh, and I've just finished adding the photos from Whero's book yesterday, The Town Garden.

Poultry Wednesday

More specifically, in the form of Ducks and Geese.

Good afternoon,

Today started off with a little Maths, where we were practicing the language of measurement using authentic context by building trees.

Later in the day, we discussed the fruit of the Spirit...

...and how we can recognize the work of the Spirit through the actions of others.

Whero reading group also made out a photo book of their text for today, which I'll produce...once I get a copy of their text!

CU tomorrow,

Mr Grant
