Thursday Wonderings

Good afternoon,

This morning Ma Reading Group posed a question. What Would I Do?

After lunch, Room 2 was thoroughly engaged in this activity here.

I was really impressed with the enthusiasm with which they went at it!

Don't forget tomorrow's colour day (we're green) and the reason behind it (a gold coin donation for Jose).

Wednesday Wobbling

Good afternoon,

This morning, half way through reading, we popped out for our daily Jump Jam.

Reminds me of a Ready to Read book...Wibble Wobble Albatross...

Anyway, this afternoon, we finished our breakdown of the Our Father prayer.

It hadn't even occured to me to link the Our Father prayer to the Eucharist! That's some very clever thinking right there!

Next step - remember it!

Have a great evening,

Mr Grant

Procedural Tuesday

Good afternoon,

This morning was another busy one.

We Are Learning To Write Procedures...

A procedure has a...
Title,
A Goal,
Some Materials,
And some Steps.

Kowhai Reading Group were doing so nicely, I was able to leave them to do some reading assessments!

After lunch and J Team Singing, we broke down some more of the Our Father prayer, much like we did yesterday.

More again tomorrow!

Sunday Monday

Good afternoon,

It was lovely to see the sun this today, after a rather dismal weekend. Or Saturday, at least.

This morning, after maths...

...Kowhai Reading Group shared a wee play with us. Countdown.

In the afternoon we started to break down what the Our Father prayer meant.

More tomorrow.

Bye for now,

Mr Grant

Wetday Thursday

Good evening,

Urghh, but the weather was rather unpleasant at the end of the day. Still, I don't really expect the place to be snowed in tomorrow...

Anyway, today, as well as some writing...

...we did some R.E., looking a the Parable of the Lost Sheep, and the Parable of the Lost Coin. We acted some of it out...

...discussed it with our Room 1 buddies...

...and had some great ideas come fourth as to what they meant. More clever than the summary provided, though that was still valuable.

Have a great, wet, cold day tomorrow as I stay home to write report comments,

Mr Grant
