Monday Monday

Good afternoon,

Once again, we had a busy, busy day.

Indeed, so busy, I forgot to pull out the camera 'till the end!

We did some Solo thinking...

...and then a bit more SunSmart.

Tomorrow's our Athletics Day down at Hillmorton High - weather permitting. If weather is not permitting, it'll be Thursday...weather permitting...)

We'll be leaving school for Hillmorton High at 9 sharpish, so please be at school early for roll call.

Remember sunscreen and a House Colour shirt.

Pray for some fine weather!

Mr Grant

Opps, I just remembered I hadn't sent out the weekly newsletter! Stink!

Good afternoon,

And a glorious one it is too!

This morning was all about only one thing - Halburg Tabloid Sports, planned, organised and run by the Year 8s.

Mixed Up Thursday

Good afternoon,

And a very pleasant afternoon it is too.

Today was a little out of the ordinary.

We began with R.E....

...as we had guests in the school observing our Catholic Character. And first up was my slot to show our stuff.

Which meant, although we fitnessed...

...we didn't do reading today. Though we did have eight race offs after lunch...

...to see which Year 2 boy and girl will represent their house at the Athletics Day House Colour Relay Race next Tuesday.

We finished the day with some maths.

Which I quite enjoyed. Well done Room 2, you are all doing really well with your numbers.

Halburg Tabloid Sports Monring tomorrow, weather permitting. Sports gear all day. Please remember water bottles and sun screen.

Forgotten Tuesday

Good afternoon,

The keenly observant would have noticed that I didn't post anything last night.

Firstly it was because, well, no pictures were taken, seeing as we were all busy and all, and secondly I was busy doing these after school...

...seeing as October is the month of the Rosary. We did the first Joyful Mystery this morning. After our Father's Prayer, I read the first part, we say an Hail Mary, I say the second etc, etc, etc. So that the children have got something to think about as they do their decade, you understand.

After morning tea, during reading...

...Ma reading group shared a play with us before lunch.

After lunch, we talked about one of the reasons Mary was chosen...

...and then discussed the effects of UV rays on the skin.

Bye for now,

Mr Grant
