iPad Wednesday

Good evening,

Again, sorry for another late post, but this time I have a decent excuse - I didn't get home from work 'till about 8:30 this evening, seeing as I went straight from school to the Catholic Education Office with Mr Shea for the start of our New Testament overview course. Interesting stuff.

Anyhow, here's the shared recount experience that we had this morning.

(Man, that took ages to sort into the right order - the iPad doesn't give unique file names to each file. These photos were just called, well, photo!)

While I had the iPad out, I also took a wee clip of the children reading part of their big book. They did it beautifully.

Speaking of reading, Kahurangi read another story about daisies, and what Room 13 of Henderson Valley School did with a heap of them...

In the afternoon we revisited our ice experiments...this time adding salt...and sugar.

And a good time was had by all,

The Blog Post With No Name

Good evening,

Sorry for the delay in getting this uploaded...I kinda forgot!

Anyhow, not that much to report really. Or at least show.

We did some maths...

...or is that writing? Oh, hang on, it's both. Then the camera stayed silent for the rest of the day.

Things were a bit busy this afternoon to take shots of the touch rugby, even though the camera was outside with me...

But a good time was had by all!

By the way, it's Mckillop / Blue House that's got mufti on Friday.

And So It Begins...

...again...

Good afternoon,

And welcome to Term 3.

This morning we got straight into using the iPads to re-enforce making 10...

...while the rest of the class squirreled away with their own maths activities.

After lunch we started our new science unit Matter Matters through an exuberant investigation of great globes of ice.

If the goal was to get the children all hyped up over ice, well...mission accomplished!

Don't forget that it's P.E. day tomorrow. Ruggers. Lord help me! :-)

Galoop's Big Night Out

Good afternoon,

We're almost ready for Monday. Almost.

Anyhow, last night Galoop and the boys popped out after tea for a game of Laser Strike.

Galoop came second in a good old fashioned free-for-all!

He was quite pleased with himself when he got back to the car...

...and he enjoyed the ride home!

See you Monday,
